Positioning of the hotel brand Sea You with CI & website
A new hotel was recently built in Klink on the Müritz. The owner sought an agency to professionally establish the new hotel brand even in an early construction phase while also designing all digital and printed media. Thus, we accompanied the “Sea You” project from the very beginning in concept and design, giving it an appealing tourist layout and bringing it to life.
As part of tourism marketing, a hotel should develop a clear message to highlight its strengths and advantages. It should provide an engaging online presence, ensure excellent on-site service, and take into account the needs of its target audience. This is exactly what the operators of Sea You have accomplished – and we had the opportunity to support the development of the hotel brand as well as the digital and printed media with our expertise.
Development of the hotel brand (Corporate Identity / Corporate Design)
The logo of “Sea You” showcases a balanced color combination of golden yellow and matte cornflower blue, as well as the topographical feature of the location. The hotel is perfectly situated between two lakes and serves as a new destination for those seeking relaxation at the Müritz. The combination of elegant and minimalist fonts adds the finishing touch to the appearance of the new hotel brand.
Modern Hotel Website
The hotel understands perfectly how to appeal to its desired guests with its modern and elegant online presence. Through high-quality photos of the exclusive facilities, culinary delights, and the pleasant atmosphere of the wellness area, the website targets a discerning vacation audience. The high usability of the hotel website entices visitors to make a booking. Tasty images for the restaurant were created by us, as well as several photo shots. As with all our other client projects, we also created an illustrative map and designed custom icons here.
What is important for hotels to effectively implement tourism marketing?
In tourism marketing, it is essential for a hotel to develop a holistic strategy that addresses the needs and expectations of potential guests. Here are eight aspects that, according to our agency’s experience, are important for hoteliers, vacation rental owners, and guesthouse operators:
- Target audience analysis: The hotel should have a clear understanding of the type of guests it wants to attract. This can be based on factors such as demographic characteristics, travel preferences, budget, and interests. Therefore, it should tailor both the property, the rooms, and the amenities, as well as the communicative and visual presentation through digital and print media. At Sea You, it is immediately clear that an upscale clientele is part of the target audience.
- Differentiation and unique selling points: A hotel must clearly communicate what sets it apart from other hotels. This can include unique amenities, special services, location advantages, or a distinctive design. Sea You offers not only an excellent location but also a very stylish design that will be especially well received by the target audience.
- Online presence and booking platforms: A strong online presence that is optimized for PageSpeed and SEO (OnPage factors) is essential. The hotel should have a user-friendly website that provides relevant information, high-quality photos, virtual tours, and easy booking options to guide vacation seekers towards making a booking or getting in touch. It should also be represented on booking platforms, as many vacation seekers no longer search for suitable accommodations through Google, but instead go directly to Booking, Airbnb, and others.
- Reviews and reputation management: Guest reviews have a significant impact on the decisions of potential guests. Positive reviews on Google are also a lever for online visibility. The hotel should strive for positive service and guest satisfaction and actively respond to reviews to gain the trust of guests – particularly in responding to negative reviews lies an opportunity to position itself as a professional provider. The Google business profile for Sea You has already been set up, and the first positive reviews have been received. Thanks to the monitoring of online visibility through Google Search Console, initial visibility increases have already been recorded.
- Events and packages: The hotel can offer special events, offers, and packages to appeal to different target groups. This may include seasonal discounts, wellness packages, wedding arrangements, cycling and boating tourists, or business travel packages.
- Local partnerships: Collaborating with local attractions, restaurants, or venues can create a win-win situation and offer guests a more comprehensive experience. Collaborations with the Müritzeum and other “bad weather spots” are particularly promising here.
- Visual and communicative content: High-quality photos, videos, and virtual tours of the hotel and rooms are important to attract potential guests. Convincing descriptions of the amenities and location are also crucial. Sea You has a truly appealing outward presentation that inspires a desire to book.
- Customer service: Excellent customer service before, during, and after the stay is essential. Satisfied guests are more likely to leave positive reviews and recommend the hotel to their friends and family. Why not automate sending the customers a PDF with excursion destinations before their trip and provide a download link with aerial and panoramic photos of the hotel and the region after their vacation, as some travelers may also create photo books about their holiday. Travelers will gladly acknowledge this with a positive review.
In conclusion, Sea You now points out:
- a clear target audience communication
- a modern, inviting hotel brand including professional digital and print media
- a fast, mobile- and SEO-optimized website (without cookie nonsense)
- professional photos of hotel, restaurant, rooms, apartments
- tasteful pictures of the dishes
- and many other positive aspects that are important for tourism marketing
